"For when the Kena`ani and the other people living in the land hear about it, they will surround us and wipe us off the face of the earth. What will you do then to save the honor of your great name?" Joshua 7:9
Immediately the 2014 cease fire (Hudna) came into effect, the digging of tunnels and restocking with weapons resumed. "We have not stopped making weapons, even during the battle, and we will redouble our efforts . . . to prepare for the next stage, which we hope will be the battle for freedom," Abu Hamza, spokesman for Hamas's Al-Quds Brigade, declared as the ceasefire took effect.
Now it appears the Israeli government has obtained proof that Hamas is smuggling weapons into Gaza, improving its own weapons-making facilities and rebuilding terror tunnels into Israel, according to reports circulating in the Israeli media, which quote an unnamed senior Israeli diplomat.

While the world focuses on "Islamic State", everybody appears to have forgotten Iran's pursuit of a nuclear weapon with which to destroy Israel. See Iran Iran goes nuclear Iran Deal
Hezbollah has been involved with the I.S. war, but is still believed to be ready to attack Israel with rockets and through terror tunnels.
Hezbollah may implement its plan to invade northern Israel if a third Lebanon war breaks out, according to an estimate by the IDF Northern Command. Sources in Israel have identified a change in the Shiite terror group's policies, which Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has defined as "breaking the silence." There was no concrete warning of an immediate threat by Hezbollah to launch a war against Israel or a surprise ground invasion, but the concern that a single event - with casualties - may flare up and lead, in quick succession, to the outbreak of war on the northern front.
The possibilities include the seizure of part of a town, a mountain ridge, or an IDF outpost - all in order to achieve an unprecedented symbolic victory for Hezbollah.
Hezbollah may use a heavy barrage of large short-range rockets. These are not of the standard variety and carry warheads with 100 to 500 kilograms of explosives. The Syrian military has used these rockets during its ongoing civil war to demolish neighborhoods. The major benefits of their rockets are their massive destructive power and the difficulty for Israel in intercepting them. (presumably this means they are fired directly rather than in a high parabolic trajectory)

The Islamic State terror group is operating sleeper cells in southern Syria near the border with Israel, a spokesman for the opposition’s Free Syrian Army charged Sunday.
The anonymous spokesman said that some of the 6,000 Islamist fighters who fled southward toward the borders with Israel and Jordan in July actually belong to the Islamic State, not to the less extreme Nusra Front as previously believed.
According to the intelligence agency of the Free Syrian Army, Islamic State activists would approach individuals in the area, offering them basic food staples or financial aid. “They say: ‘Stay at home, no one will know about you. The moment we need you, we’ll call.’” The spokesman said that many locals refused the IS overtures, but that could change given the region’s grave poverty.
Eyal Zisser, an expert on Syria at Tel Aviv University, said he was unaware of the IS presence in southern Syria, but was not surprised by the new information. “ Islamic State is trying to establish itself all across Syria,” he told The Times of Israel.
The Free Syrian Army currently controls the entire border between Israel and Syria, including the Quneitra border crossing, wrested from the Assad regime by opposition forces including the Al-Qaeda-affiliated Al-Nusra Front in late August, the spokesman said.

Saudi Arabian media reported that Jordan had handed secret intelligence over to the NATO with details about infiltrations of ISIS fighters into Jordanian territory through its borders with Syria and Iraq. The British ambassador to Jordan, Peter Millett, said the U.K. and NATO were prepared to assist Jordan in dealing with the dangers posed by ISIS.
Although relations between Israel and Egypt are relatively warm, with both being wary of Muslim Brotherhood movements, there are Al Quaeda cells training and operating in the Sinai peninsula up to the Israel border.
Iran said (August 28, 2014) it was stepping up efforts to arm West Bank Palestinians for battle against Israel, with Basij militia chief Mohammad Reza Naqdi saying the move would lead to Israel’s annihilation, Iran’s Fars news agency reported.

Hamas terrorist leader Ismail Haniyeh would win the majority of votes among Palestinian Arabs if elections for a new president were held now. He would receive 61 percent of the vote against Mahmoud Abbas, with 25 percent.
The poll, by the Palestinian Center for Policy Research, included 1,270 participants with a three-percent margin of error.
In an election encompassing Arabs in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, Haniyeh would likely become P.A. president, In Gaza, only 53 percent would vote for Haniyeh and 43 for Abbas.
The number of terror incidents from that area has been rising notably in the past couple of months, since the launch of Operation Protective Edge, with many linked to the PA's military wing.
Not a direct threat maybe , but sympathetic and helpful to I.S. and hostile (on and off) towards Israel as well as seeking a more prominent role in the Middle East.
The United Nations is anything but an impartial arbiter, and U.N. agencies like UNRWA and UNHCR are working specifically for the Palestinian cause.

(maybe not a deadly threat in themselves)
But Israel hatred following Gaza 2014 resulted in likely difficulty for Israel re-arming after the Hamas war stopped(?)

See Islam - Islam is not "a religion of peace"
Christian Palestinianism and anti-Christian Zionism continues to spread within the Christian Church through Replacement Theology and leftist thinking and unquestioning acceptance of Palestinian propaganda.
Forming public opinion - stoking Anti-Israelism (rebranded anti-Semitism) excusing Hamas and other terrorist organisations that they see as more worthy than Islamic State. (without any clear reason)
The trouble with both of the above is their opinion forming role, based on a one sided, post-colonial narrative and post-modern thinking. An overwhelming public opinion bias against Israel will lead to Israel standing alone, with all his so called friends sitting on their hands in Israel's time of need. President Obama did not have "Israel's back" as he liked to claim.
